About Me
Hello!
I'm Rod, a versatile visual storyteller with more than seven years of experience producing and editing corporate videos, TV commercials, brand videos, and original content. I'm a story-driven professional with expert knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking and post-production.
I have experience partnering with production companies, managing teams, and working with producers to bring projects to life. My favorite aspect of production is directing. I love filming on-location, collaborating with a team, and performing as the chief creative officer on set. Bringing a client's vision to life and seeing them light up when they watch the result makes me happy!
My Education
After dropping out of Memphis College of Art in 2003, I returned in 2018 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Media Communications from Full Sail University. Full Sail's program helped me better understand video production and marketing in today's evolving media industry. I also completed my Master of Science in Entertainment Business in 2019. This program gave me the business and management skills required to excel and lead in the entertainment world. I gained valuable insight into business management, finance, digital marketing, and brand development.
When I'm not producing brand videos, I make short films and music videos within my local film community.
